WCBR-BSA C15 Story Continued...
Here is the C15 on its first outing -- roughly 18 hours after its completion. Completion? Well, it was ready enough to enter in the Dick Mann Vintage Dirt Bike Rally motocross.  Does a project like this ever really get finished?  It would evolve more than somewhat over the next seven years or so.  This was the first sanctioned race its rider had ever entered. Didn't do too badly -- only fell once, finished both motos and didn't get lapped.
The duct tape on the B25 tank badges was an unnecessary precaution -- they stayed in place just fine without, it was later found out -- at least until the fiberglass tank could be replaced with a lighter and better looking aluminum "breadloaf" tank.

Luxury, compared to the 19-incher with the low fender which would lock the tire solid if ridden any distance in mud. Still had the stock BSA forks, though. Doesn't leave much wonder as to why racers investigated alternatives like leading-link front suspension.
