14)      Clutch.
A) Place machine on cycle stand.
B) Cut-off and remove safety wire from drain & filler plugs.
C) Remove Drain/filter screen, drain motor oil (see #8).
D) Remove clutch adjuster cover.
E) Remove Primary cover allen screws (5mm wrench).
F) Remove six (6) screws, springs & buckets and Pressure Plate.
G) Remove clutch plates.
H) Inspect and replace as needed.
I) Refit clutch & primary, Reverse "A" thru "G".
        
NOTE: Tighten clutch spring screws snug.
J) Adjust Clutch.  Back-off cable adjustment 100%, undo locknut on pressure plate, turn adjusting screw in/out as ness, leaving some free-play.  Lock-up nut.  Readjust cable, refit cover and tighten.
There are three 6mm x 50mm allen screws on the primary cover, these go in the holes fitted with dowels.


15)      Shift Cover Box & Counter Sprocket.
A) Place machine on cycle stand.
B) Remove allen screws from cover (5mm wrench).
C) Holding shift lever, pull cover off.
D) Flatten counter sprocket locktab, remove nut.
E) Remove counter sprocket from shaft, then from chain.
F) Replace or renew counter sprocket, refit & tighten nut.
G) Readjust rear drive chain if counter sprocket different
H) Reverse "A" thru "D".


16)      Timing Cover Oil Seal.
A) Place machine on cycle stand.
B) Remove points cover.
C) Remove points plate assy.
D) Remove points cam assy.
E) Carefully pry out oil seal.
F) Grease and fit new oil seal, taking care not to damage it.
G) Reverse "A" thru "E".
     Before removing Points Plate, place align marks on both plate and timing cover for ease of reassemble.
