WCBR6 Continued...
Above & Below: 1998 Trans Alantic Match Races, Round 1 & 2, Laguna Seca Raceway, Monterey, CA.
#1 is Yvonne DeHamel on the ex works BSA Rocket-3, #2 is Mike Green in the WCBR-Ducati 350. Green would finish 5th in both races on the 350 against the 500's. The Seeley-Triumph 500 WCBR had entered was sidelined with oiling problems in practice. Green didn't go to Round 3 & 4 in the UK for lack of sponsor money. It's rough getting cash for an American to compete in the UK on vintage machines.

2004 Season...

Fernley, NV., September 18th:
During the VMOTO event at the new tracked, billed as the Reno-Fernley Raceway, Mike Green took the 350 Ducati out once again. Though it was a combined race, the Saturday event saw the WCBR-Ducati pull the holeshot and motor off ahead of an H2 Kawasaki!  Though the Kaw soon passed the Ducati, the Ducati held its own, finishing 2nd overall and First in class.  "It was great to ride the 350  in anger again, so to speak, and hearing that wonderful 350 megaphone bark at red-line was a sound I have missed. It does take a bit more effort to ride the 350 fast than it does to ride the T140, the later having disc brakes and more power, you don't have to work the Triumph so hard. I really enjoyed riding the 350 today, but tomorrow I'll be on the Triumph for the points race", said Green after the race.  On Sunday? The Triumph won!
